What do I need for class?

  • Yoga mat – available for rental $2
  • Bath-sized towel – BYO or available for rental $2
  • Water – we have a filtered water cooler or bottled water available for purchase
  • Happy smile and a good attitude – be prepared to work hard and sweat!

How do I prepare for class?

Make sure you are well hydrated, which means drinking 1-2 litres of water before coming to class. Please don’t eat a full meal at least 2-3 hours before class – the emptier your stomach, the more enjoyable your practice will be.

We recommend wearing something light and fitted such as shorts, singlet tops or sport bras, or lycra gym wear. Please avoid sweats, track pants, and heavy t-shirts as we heat the room. Bring a change of clothing, a towel for a shower if you wish, and a plastic bag for sweaty clothes!

We suggest that you do not bring valuables or large amounts of cash. Personal belongings can be stored in free lockers provided (bring a padlock).

If you have any injuries or pre-existing medical issues (e.g. epilepsy, hypertension, low blood pressure, heart conditions, diabetes, etc.) please ensure that you let the teacher know before the beginning of each class.

Arrive 15 minutes early for your first class with an open mind and ready to enjoy the challenge of class.
