Studio Facilities
Our commitment is to offer the best possible service within an environmentally friendly studio. We are constantly improving our amenities to enhance your yoga experience and we welcome any suggestions.
The Yoga Studio
The studio is specially designed to provide the ultimate environment for practicing heated styles of Yoga. We use a custom heating system that draws fresh air from outside and heats the room to the desired temperature. The heating vents come from the ceiling ensuring that the heat is evenly spread. Our room is light, airy and spacious, offering 200m sq space in which to practice
Air filtration
An air purifier removes dust and allergens. This air purification method kills mould, mildew and bacteria. Using ionization, airborn contaminants are eliminated. The fresh outside air is passed through a carbon and electronic air filter producing air in the yoga room which is cleaner than the air outside.
Humidifier
The humidity of the room is maintained at a level of 60%. By keeping the room at a higher humidity, the heat in the room is more effective at penetrating deep into the body without the actual temperature of the room reaching extremes
Steam Vapour Cleaned
Our carpeted floor is steam vapour cleaned every week by a special environmentally friendly cleaning system that uses only water to steam the room, thus avoiding the use of harmful chemicals. This vapour cleaner injects high pressure steam into the carpet at 110°C, killing all bacteria and allergens. Combine this with the air filtration system and we have the freshest hot room in town!
Sound
During busy classes, teachers may use a microphone to amplify their voice. This ensures an even voice quality throughout the room and prevents teachers from straining their voices.
Teacher Assistants
We have Teacher Assistants in most of the busier Vinyasa yoga classes. Our assistants volunteer their time as their Karma Yoga (selfless service), and have been specifically trained to assist with your alignment and practice. They have a genuine interest in your wellbeing and are there to enhance your experience.
Amenities
Efficient showers and change room areas are available for both men and women. There are an additional 3 changing cubicles for those who prefer a quick change and don't wish to shower at the studio.
We provide lockers and suggest you bring your own small padlock, as they do not have locks. However, the studio front door remains locked during class times.
Pure Filtered Water
We provide "Grander Filtered Water" which is a special method of water filtration that uses a natural ionization process that returns water back to its absolute pure natural state, by the use of natural forces. For more information on this process see Grander Water's website. We also provide bottled Mangrove Mountain Organic Spring Water for sale.
Towels and Mats
Fresh towels are available for rent. Mats are mandatory in the yoga room for hydgiene purposes. Mats can be rented and are also available for sale. Try out the Eco Mats - all natural and environmentally friendly!
Studio etiquette
To ensure a harmonious environment for all, please note the following requirements:
- Leave shoes and bags outside the room – a shoe rack is provided for shoes, and lockers for bags.
- Please refrain from taking your mobile phone into the room, leave it turned off in your locker.
- Turn up on time for class – if you are late, you may not be admitted for class, or may find the door locked – no exceptions!
Please stay for the duration of the class. For security reasons our doors are locked during class – if you leave early, you jeopardize the safety of everyone’s belongings. If you absolutely MUST leave early for a specific reason, you need to make arrangements with the teacher BEFORE class begins.

We stock a variety of books and CD’s and DVD's written and produced by Baron Baptiste, Shiva Rea and Wade Imre Morissette, as well as by other selected other authors.
We advocate non toxic materials and products that are not tested on animals...especially clothing!
