Mark has been practicing yoga all his life and is one of Australia’s most remarkable visionaries in the field of postural assessment and yoga. For the past few years he has been training yoga teachers through Nature Care College’s Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching. He is a Somatic Psychotherapist working in corrective exercise and injury rehabilitation, and works regularly with elite athletes such as Ian Thorpe and members of the Rip Curl pro surfers. Mark's aim is to raise a global holistic consciousness that promises the hope of individuals regaining their health, vitality and spiritual, emotional and physical well being.
Mark’s focus is to heal people through yoga by assessing different postural types, looking at how they present in yoga practice, and how to apply the relevant building blocks of practice - flexibility, stability and strength to their bodies.
Mark brings his expertise to Bodymindlife Yoga as facilitator of the 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training Program. He also offers regular workshops on Postural Assessment for Yoga teachers and students, as well as one-on-one assessments and personal programs.
