4 Week Yoga Program for Beginners

New to the mat? Learn the basics with one of our lead yoga teachers Sarah Routhier!

In a series of four masterclasses over four weeks, Sarah will break down the foundations of a yoga practice – from how to set up your mat and use blocks and straps, to the key poses you’ll go through in class. You’ll also learn how to modify if you’re injured, a little tight or feeling like a more chilled flow when you’re on the mat.

Held in our beautiful new wellness studio space in Bondi Beach and/or Surry Hills, these intimate workshop-style classes will be limited to six students only. You’ll be given one-on-one attention and care, so you can develop your practice in a safe way with confidence.

Suitable for brand new yogis, all fitness levels welcome. No experience required.

Week One

Why we practice yoga and the benefits. How to set up the mat and the importance of breath.

Warm up and Savasana.

Week Two

We break down the key poses, with tips for placement of hands and feet.

Week Three

We further explore what we learnt in week two and “Yoke” the breath and movement together.
Sun Salutations and vinyasa.

Week Four

We put everything together to find a practice suited for our individual body and needs. Students will leave with an understanding on how to best cater to their injuries, or make modifications for a feel good practice.
