Join Kevin Privett & Christian Muñoz for Pilates Has Your Back an interactive workshop at BodyMindLife Byron Bay that will illustrate how beneficial Pilates is for your back, particularly for your fascia and spine.
Working on the reformer and in pairs we will map out the muscular and connective tissue structures at the back of our bodies, using massage techniques such as compression and kneading to the muscles to create awareness. We will warm the tissues with a Pilates workout and finish with dynamic stretching using manual therapy techniques and the resistance from the Reformer machine.
This workshop will help your posture and balance, increase your understanding of how Pilates can help decrease lower back pain and reduce neural pain, and leave you feeling taller and stronger.
