Yoga for Beginners Series

“It is in choosing to accept your practice the way it is right now that you move from fear to freedom. Commit to the journey of yoga rather than trying to force your pose to look a specific way.”

– Annie Carpenter

Yoga beginners series

Yoga for Beginners is a four part series created specifically for people who have never stepped into a yoga room or who have but, for whatever reason, haven’t been back.

Join Mandy Scotney to explore the elements of yoga from a foundation level including:

  • Why we practice yoga and the ritual of class
  • Basic yoga postures and transitions
  • How to find safe alignment
  • Modifying postures to suit your body
  • Feeling comfortable in the studio
  • Getting ready for regular classes
  • Connecting to the BodyMindLife community

These workshop-style classes are fun to do at home, and will help you develop your practice safely and with confidence. People of all fitness levels are welcome, and no experience is required.
