Amy first came to Pilates as part of her recovery from a serious back injury. Having been told her days of high-intensity training were over, she instantly became enamoured with how Pilates made her feel. Not only did it give her time out from a high stress job, she was astounded at the strength and mobility she gained from a regular practice. Slowly, all her other niggling injuries she had also started to dissipate.
Disenchanted with her banking career, Amy’s teachers encouraged her to pursue her STOTT Pilates certification and, in 2015, Amy stepped away from corporate life so she could help others create better lives with strong healthy bodies that move with grace and ease.
Apart from her love of both Pilates and Yoga, Amy also has an unashamed love of cars and motorsport that she inherited from her Dad. She’s watched Bathurst every year since she was 6 years old and still takes great delight in watching cars drive around in circles, mainly because it allows her to put her analytical mind to work trying to work out every team’s race strategy.
