Anthea has more than 10 years experience in Pilates. She has run programs designed for dancers with and without disabilities, as well as athletes, injury rehabilitation, and pre-natal and post-natal pregnancy.
Anthea takes pride in understanding the individual needs of each of her students and creating specific workouts to achieve their goals. Having come from a dance background, graduating with a Bachelor of Dance in 2004 from the Victorian College of the Arts, Anthea is passionate about movement and working with students to develop strong, toned bodies. Anthea co-founded a contemporary dance company in 2005, DirtyFeet and has since become a major contributor to the company’s activities, in both artistic and managerial capacities.
Anthea has participated in a number of workshops, master classes and conferences in pre-natal, pregnancy and post-natal Pilates, menopause, yamuna body rolling, scoliosis, pelvic floor, fascia and foam rollers, triad ball, freeform, Garuda, stability for back and hip pain, Pilates for ballet dancers, and more.
When she's not in the studio teaching Pilates, Anthea loves swimming, doing yoga, dancing and travelling the world!
