A skiing accident in 1994 ended her dancing career but introduced Fiona to
Pilates. She had the opportunity to study under Romana Kryzanowska, who was
trained by Joseph Pilates himself, and her teaching style combines this
traditional “New York” method with rehabilitation nuances from her dance and
massage therapy background.
With APMA, Classic New York Method and Stott Pilates certifications and 12
years of running her own studio in Canberra, training the Brumbies, Academy of
Sport athletes and every level in between, she moved to Sydney in 2007 and has
been teaching privates as a freelance instructor ever since.
She loves training clients to become intelligent movers, with technique and focus
as the key to building strong, healthy bodies. She also loves sailing, kayaking and
making birthday cakes for dogs.
