Kate began her yoga journey by chance when her university replaced a pilates class with yoga. She fell in love with the dynamic flow of power vinyasa and it’s ability to calm her overactive mind. It was a few years later while practising at Yoga to the People, a donation based studio in New York, where she truly experiences the power and energy of a community of people moving and breathing together. Inspired by that synergy, she knew that she wanted to teach, to create the space for others to discover through yoga. Her classes are lighthearted yet challenging: weaving in dharma and five elemental theory, with a focus on feeling into the body.
