Yoga Philosophy Teacher Training
Accredited Course in Byron Bay
The yoga tradition offers a wide and deep ocean of wisdom, philosophy, symbolism, mythic narrative, and iconography. A deeper understanding of the traditions of yoga adds many more layers of meaning to our practice, both on and off the mat, and empowers yogis to a richer appreciation of our relationship to nature, culture, and one’s own conscience.
Discover Yoga Philosophy in Depth
In this 3-day immersion we dive deeply into the ocean of wisdom in the Bhagavad-Gita, and the greater context of the great epic Mahabharata, through a dynamic mix of conversation, storytelling, meditation, journaling, pranayama, and the physical practices of postural yoga. We will explore these teachings in both their historical context, as well as how we, as modern yogis, may derive meaning from these ancient wisdom traditions. Our exploration will be entirely secular in nature; no belief required.
