How much yoga experience do I need?
Our teacher training is open to all levels of yogis – you don’t need to be able to do a handstand! We recommend a minimum of six months to one year of regular asana practice in preparation for the course.
Are there any additional costs to tuition?
The full residential retreat option covers your BodyMindLife Training manual, airport transfers, full tuition and classes to receive your 200-hour certification with Yoga Alliance and Yoga Australia, 22 nights accommodation and three delicious, nutritious meals each day – including a welcome dinner of arrival and breakfast on the day of your departure.
The only additional expenses include the three textbooks required for the course, which include Light on Yoga by B.K.S Iyengar, Key Poses of Yoga by Ray Long and The Bhagavad Gita, and your return airfares to Bali – Airport transfers are not included but can be arranged directly with Kommune. Full details will be provided on full payment.
Is it possible to fail the course?
Our teacher training team will support you to gain a foundation of skills and knowledge to achieve your 200-hour certification, and meet you where you’re at. The teachers are dedicated to helping students and in the event a student feels they are falling behind, or if any concerns come up during the course, these will be discussed with you at the time and additional support or options may be given.
Do I have to stay at the Komune Resort?
No, it is possible to take the course if you’re already living in Bali or if you wish to arrange your own accommodation and meals (please see training only prices).
