As a Front of House Receptionist in our Bondi Beach studio, you’ll be the first point of contact, ensuring that every person who enters our studio feels instantly welcomed and embraced.
Responsibilities:
Radiate Warmth and Professionalism: Channel your positive energy and welcome all visitors, members, and guests with a genuine smile. Show off your exceptional customer service skills by providing a friendly and knowledgeable approach to address enquiries and create an inviting atmosphere.
Member Services: Be the go-to person for our members! Assist them in person, over the phone, and via email by answering questions about our classes, schedules, membership options, promotions, and studio policies. You’ll also be responsible for maintaining accurate member records, registrations, and payments.
Studio Operations: Play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our studio. Coordinate class schedules, manage booking systems, and ensure that the front desk area and lobby are clean and organised. Help set up the studio for classes, ensuring our props and equipment are in place, and create a beautiful environment that our members love.
Spread the Good Word: You’re not just a receptionist; you’re a sales and promotion guru! Engage with potential new members and guests, sharing the incredible benefits of BodyMindLife’s yoga and pilates offerings. Work closely with our sales team to promote memberships, class packages, workshops, and retail products, all while contributing to the growth and success of our studio.
Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks from data entry and inventory management to filing and ensuring we have all the necessary supplies. Your attention to detail will keep everything running smoothly. Support our amazing instructors and staff by maintaining paperwork, class rosters, and attendance records accurately.
Customer Feedback and Conflict Resolution: Listen attentively to customer feedback, concerns, and complaints, and be the person who resolves issues promptly and professionally. Provide creative solutions and, when needed, escalate matters to the management team. Your goal is to ensure that every customer leaves with a big smile and a sense of satisfaction.
Team Player Extraordinaire: We’re all in this together! Foster a collaborative and supportive environment by keeping open lines of communication with instructors, staff, and management. Contribute to team meetings, training sessions, and staff development activities, showing off your dedication to the growth and success of our studio.
Who Should Apply?
We’re looking for candidates with previous customer service experience and a natural talent for making people feel special and valued. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must, as is a passion for yoga and Pilates, with a basic understanding of their principles and benefits. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, are skilled at multitasking and prioritising, and have a knack for technology and customer management software, we want to hear from you. You will also have the flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
