The core, also known in Pilates as ‘The Powerhouse’ is comprised of a group of muscles; abdominals (upper, lower and deep), lower back, buttocks and the hips. Powerhouse muscles work together to form a supportive corset for your trunk to stabilise the body during dynamic movement. Join Mardi for a MasterClass designed to build core strength and balance through progressive exercises and focused stretches.
