Winter is the most yin of all the seasons. Its energy is dark, slow and inward. We observe this in nature as the earth turns quiet and still, plants and trees pause, animals hibernate to replenish their energy and rest. In flow with nature we also gravitate towards slowing down.
Join Ilana Hamill for a Yin Workshop that will draw from the energy of winter to stimulate and encourage circulation of the back line of the body, especially the spine and the lower back around the kidneys, to replenish our energy. The workshop will conclude with a Yoga Nidra practice known as yogic sleep — a meditation and conscious relaxation practice that induces total physical, mental, and emotional relaxation, leaving you ready to emerge feeling refreshed, restored and rebalanced.
