CLASS INFORMATION - Reformer Pilates Flow

Pilates Flow build on the foundations built in Align. You'll move through a challenging series of exercises that incorporate functional movement patterns to strengthen, tone, firm and balance your body, improve posture and prevent injury. Not suitable for beginners to Reformer Pilates, those with injuries or during pregnancy.

Far Infrared Sauna

CLASS INFORMATION - Far Infrared Sauna

If it’s your first sauna experience, please arrive 5-10 mins early so we have the opportunity to welcome you and talk you through your first session. The sauna is located within its own private therapy room which will be stocked with a robe, towel and water for your personal use.

Prior to your arrival the sauna will be preheated to 65 degrees celsius for a session duration of 45 minutes. If you need to take a break you are able to enter and exit the sauna as many times as you like during the session. It’s important to make sure you are well hydrated before and after any sauna session for maximum benefit and detoxification. An hour before your sauna try to drink at least 500mls of good quality filtered water.

We recommend you enter the sauna undressed or with minimal garments (ie. swimwear or cotton underwear). For hygiene purposes, we ask that you sit on a towel for the duration of your session.

If you can, limit the amount of personal care products you put on before a session. Clean skin will make it easier for your body to cleanse and clear out all the toxins and impurities.

During your session you have the option to listen to relaxation music, guided meditations and podcasts which can be played through the internal speakers. The sauna has also been fitted with light therapy and we encourage you to experiment with the different colours during your session.

Shower, toilet and change room facilities are available to freshen up after your session.

Be prepared to get hot, sweaty and enjoy some deep cleansing relaxation. Please note: sauna sessions are not included in the membership options. A separate sauna pass will need to be purchased.

Yoga Open 30°C

CLASS INFORMATION - Yoga Open 30°C

Yoga Open classes offer an energetic yoga flow with strong poses and creative sequencing, designed to challenge and inspire both physically and mentally.

Classes vary in focus and pace, and from teacher to teacher, and we encouraged you to move within the boundaries of your experience level. We recommend Yoga Open classes to those with prior yoga experience. If you're new to vinyasa, please attend 4-6 Yoga Essentials classes before trying our Open classes.

Temperature: Classes are heated to approximately 30°C. We do our best to keep the room at a comfortable temperature and recommend that you come hydrated, dress light, and bring a towel and water. If you are injured or pregnant please let your teacher know before class begins.

YOUR TEACHER - Noelle Connolly

Noelle Connolly has always been an athlete. A Philadelphia native, former Boston Terrier Field Hockey player and graduate of Boston University, she took her first yoga class in 2002, and fell in love with the practice – mentally, physically and spiritually. Noelle has a boundless curiosity for the practice, and is constantly driven to explore. She has a deep passion for inversions, harnessing the subtleties of the energetic body to defy gravity and move fluidly through space. Noelle’s classes are strong, creative and intelligent sequenced. Created to engage, refine and inspire, they are set to a background of meticulously curated music. She likes her students to leave class feeling informed, empowered and rejuvenated. A passionate and dedicated teacher, Noelle gives her all to her students. She feels honoured and blessed to take the knowledge learned from her teachers and mentors – including Maty Ezraty, Shiva Rea, Joan Hyman and Simon Park – and share it in an authentic way. “I hope to forever continue learning, about the asana and about myself. Yoga’s ability to ground and centre me, combined with an endless thirst for knowledge, pulls me back to the practice again and again.” Noelle Connolly

Yin Yoga

CLASS INFORMATION - Yin Yoga

Yin offers long, meditative yoga holds that release stress and tension from the body, explore subtle energies and penetrate deep into the connective tissues of the body. Restful and meditative, positions may be held from 3-7 minutes and may be enhanced by supportive props like bolsters, blankets or blocks.

YOUR TEACHER - Mel M Mclaughlin

Mel McLaughlin from the ‘The yin space’ - has been practicing, teaching and experiencing all that yoga, meditation and pranayama have to offer since a lengthy sojourn in India 19 yrs ago.
She has trained with some of the worlds most respected teachers of yoga, energetics and bodywork including Yin Yoga with Paul Grilley, Acupuncture with Dr.Daniel Keown, and Qi Gong with Robert Peng – and now includes all of this knowledge & experience into her own Yin Yoga teacher trainings and workshops Australia wide and throughout Europe.
Melanie has a background in dance and bodywork, which lends itself naturally to the flow and movement of asana yoga and an understanding of body mechanics. She is deeply curious about the energetic and esoteric having studied with Paul Balch, Kevin Farrow and includes this in her teachings with the belief we cannot address one body without the other.
Mel believes and has personally experienced Yoga and meditation to be great tools to ground us against the stresses of everyday life, release trauma and re-align to our most natural joyous selves, and enjoys facilitating this transformation in other beautiful humans through her chosen modalities of teaching students for the last 18 years.
