BodyMindLife Redfern is home to a light Pilates studio with thirteen state of the art, resistance based Reformer machines.

Our Pilates classes seamlessly blend traditional and contemporary Pilates repertoire, designed to lean and tone the body while increasing control, balance, precision and strength. All classes take place on the reformer, and numbers are strictly limited – so you receive personal attention within the dynamic environment of a group class.

If you are a beginner or new to BodyMindLife we ask that you start with at least one Pilates Align class, regardless of fitness level or experience. You’ll learn how to customise the Reformer machine to suit your body, and build your foundations gradually with a focus on safety and technique.

More experienced practitioners will be inspired and challenged by Pilates Flow and Dynamic classes, which move through a challenging series of exercises drawn from functional movement patterns.


BodyMindLife Redfern is home to a light, airy pilates space overlooking the leafy treetops of Redfern Park. The studio is located at 15/245 Chalmers Street, between Redfern Avenue and Turner Street. Enter through the main gates, hook a left and head up the stairs. It is a five minute walk from Redfern Station and close to major bus routes. Limited metered and unmetered street parking is available around the studio. Parking inspectors are vigilant.
