After early attempts at netball, squash and running, Azra channeled her energy into cheerleading and traditional Balinese and Malay court dancing. Moving to Sydney from Malaysia in 2006, she immersed herself in work and study until a lower back injury sent her to the yoga mat.

Diving into yoga teacher training at BodyMindLife in 2012, she has since added to her knowledge by studying with teachers such as Chanel Luck, Lorin Toche, Simon Park and Les Leventhal. She credits her yoga practice and discovery of meditation for releasing years of emotional and mental stress and inspires her students to reach below the surface to find their bliss.
