Pilates Teacher

Narelle was comprehensively trained by the Australian Pilates Method Association (APMA) in 2007 and has since taught and practiced Pilates in many of the leading private studios across Sydney.
Additional to her Pilates qualifications Narelle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise & Health Science, a Diploma in Fitness and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment.

Narelle has a nurturing and confident approach to issues and injuries within the body and strongly believes Pilates is for everybody. She loves interacting with people and not only shares her Pilates and health knowledge but she loves to educate clients about their own body – empowering them to achieve a higher level of wellbeing.
On a personal level, Narelle discovered Pilates due to a shoulder injury and the rest is history. Prior to her Pilates & fitness career she worked in a corporate setting with the Comm Bank in areas such as HR, Community/Media Relations and CBA TV.

Narelle is a Surry Hills girl, born & bred in the area with strong historical connections to the areas colorful past – Kate Leigh is her Great Aunt. She is very community focused and is on the board of directors at the Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre. When not teaching or practicing Pilates she is either hanging out with her two children, fostering dogs, practicing Yoga and meditation or active in a community event.
