Pre and Post Natal, Hatha and Yin Yoga Teacher

Vanessa has been a yoga devotee for over 25 years. She originally trained in Hatha yoga and received her 200TT certification at White Lotus Yoga in Santa Barbara CA. Since then Vanessa has continued her love of yoga teaching with certification in Yin and Pre and Post natal yoga. Vanessa believes yoga if for everybody and at any life stage - the opportunity to transform and grow to your best potential with yoga is an incredible and ongoing life journey. She loves the energy of working with pregnant mamas - her PN practice cultivates a deeper connection for mums and their babies, instilling confidence in their ability to nourish, grow and give birth. Vanessa teaches a nurturing practice designed to relax, restore and strengthen the ever-changing pregnant body through breath work, toning, asana and meditation.

Prenatal Yoga classes are designed to support expectant mums throughout pregnancy. Classes focus on a range of exercises that build flexibility and strength, explore breath and relaxation techniques, help you to connect to your baby, and prepare you for the experience of birth and postpartum.

Vanessa Mitchell

A devoted student of yoga for over 20 years, Vanessa completed Hatha yoga training at the White Lotus Yoga Foundation in Santa Barbara in 2004 and trained as a PreNatal teacher under Janice Clarfield of Urban Yoga.

Vanessa’s classes combine her unique blend of hatha yoga, vinyasa flow, birthing preparation techniques and conscious relaxation to encourage a strong yet safe practice for pregnant Mums. She teaches a series of flow and static asana – combined with vocal, pelvic floor and abdominal toning techniques – designed specifically to promote strength and elasticity and enhance the energy of body and mind, preparing mums to approach birth calm and confidence.
