More about Courtney Luffman

Courtney is a former dancer whose passion for movement was enriched by her interest in understanding the mind and body in a holistic way. She turned to yoga for inquiry and for its philosophical disciplines and teachings, and soon it became central to her life after discovering its deep transformative effects, therapeutic benefits, and peace it can create in both body and mind.

The asana practice, pranayama, and meditation techniques Courtney learned from yoga gave her the opportunity to turn inward, observe her way of being, shift patterns of thought, and create space to unveil the nature of life itself. With this newfound connection, she wished to share and teach to help others find the simple joy in presence, breath, and movement.

She is devoted to sharing her knowledge and using the science of yoga to build community, create stronger and more meaningful connections, and live in accordance with nature to help support the health of her own body and mind.
