Kat is an outdoor adventure-loving yoga teacher & teacher trainer with a background in sports, vinyasa yoga, gymnastics, dance and snowboarding. Mumma to a joyful daughter and two fluffy fur babies, Kat continually draws inspiration from her family, nature, reading books and personal Sādhana – yoga & meditation practice.
Kat leads the 200 Hour Teacher Training, 50 Hour & 25 hour programs at BodyMindLife and offers yoga trainings & retreats internationally. Her happy place is in nature and combining her love of travel with her passion for teaching and empowering students.
Kat has 1,000+ hours of training and an honours B.A. degree in Psychology under her belt. She continues ongoing studies in yoga philosophy, neuroscience and anatomy & physiology. Kat is grateful and honoured to carry the traditions of yoga to future generations, and is inspired by many great teachers & colleagues: Richard Freeman & Mary Taylor, Maty Ezraty, Simon Park, Noelle Connolly, Duncan Peak, Baron Baptiste, Ana Forrest and Georg Feuerstein.
