CLASS INFORMATION - Yoga Progressive 28°C

Get ready to play at the edge of your limits! If you are ready to challenge yourself then this is your class. You’ll move at a vigorous tempo and experiment with arm balances, inversions and adventurous sequencing. Come with an open mind, a light heart and be prepared to go deep. Our Progressive classes are designed for experienced yogis only and are not suitable for beginners.

Temperature: Classes are heated to approximately 28°C. We do our best to keep the room at a comfortable temperature and recommend that you come hydrated, dress light, and bring a towel and water. If you are injured or pregnant please let your teacher know before class begins.

YOUR TEACHER - Vicki S Smart

Vicki discovered yoga by accident in London over 10 years ago when she was working as a Senior Consultant in the Marketing recruitment industry. Her usual spin class was full, so she found herself in pigeon instead. A love affair began which continues today.Once she moved to Sydney she embarked on the first of many teacher trainings, and has now undertaken over 1000 hours of study with international teachers such as Tara Judelle, Noah Maze, Christina Sell, John Friend, and it is with her dear teachers Tara and Scott Lyons, who she continues her training with in the system of Embodied Flow™.

With experience in power vinyasa, anusara, yin and restorative yoga and Embodied Flow™, Vicki is passionate about intelligent movement which draws influence from many modalities. Expect to work hard, and laugh a lot in her classes whilst moving safely through unique sequences and into shapes you never knew existed.

Yoga Essentials classes build the foundations of your yoga practice. Classes move at a steady pace with a focus on alignment and instruction. We recommend Yoga Essentials classes to those who are new to yoga or experienced students looking to refine their practice and technique.

CLASS INFORMATION - Yoga Open 30°C

Yoga Open classes offer an energetic yoga flow with strong poses and creative sequencing, designed to challenge and inspire both physically and mentally.

Classes vary in focus and pace, and from teacher to teacher, and we encouraged you to move within the boundaries of your experience level. We recommend Yoga Open classes to those with prior yoga experience. If you're new to vinyasa, please attend 4-6 Yoga Essentials classes before trying our Open classes.

YOUR TEACHER - Kate Dambach

Kate found yoga by chance in 2004 and loved the way it could quiet her busy mind. She has since fallen in love with the space an asana practice provides to know not only our mind and body but also the more subtle aspects of our inner world. With a passion for the energetics and felt sense experience of a yoga practice she has completed many yin yoga trainings with the likes of Paul Grilley, Jo Phee and Melanie Mclaughlin. Her classes are lighthearted and yet strong, weaving in dharma and five elemental theory, always with a focus on feeling into our own body.

Yin offers long, meditative yoga holds that release stress and tension from the body, explore subtle energies and penetrate deep into the connective tissues of the body. Restful and meditative, positions may be held from 3-7 minutes and may be enhanced by supportive props like bolsters, blankets or blocks.
