BodyMindLife Redfern is home to a light, airy anti gravity studio with 15 custom-made aerial yoga hammocks.
Classes fuse traditional yoga poses, pilates, dance and aerial arts in a fun, challenging and nurturing practice that decompresses the spine and supports the body through a series of sun salutations, inversions and joint-opening poses, before finishing in a levitating savasana.
If you are a beginner or new to BodyMindLife we ask that you start with at least three Anti Gravity Essentials classes, regardless of fitness level or experience. You’ll learn the grips, traps, wraps and techniques that will keep you safe as you move into your inversion practice and build the confidence to free swing.
More experienced practitioners will be inspired and challenged by Anti Gravity Open and Progressive classes, which incorporate longer holds and more complex transitions.
